Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
The Serving Stack sets only first-party cookies: none for advertising, none shared with other sites. Under French law and the guidance of the CNIL, cookies strictly necessary for a service you asked for (such as staying signed in), and cookies used only to measure the site's own audience, do not need your prior consent; we must tell you about them, which this page does, and you must be able to refuse the audience cookie. That is why the site shows no consent banner.

The view counter
kd_sid is used only to count views per article on this site. It is random, we do not combine it with other data, and it does not follow you to other sites.
To refuse it, block or delete cookies for theservingstack.com in your browser settings, or write to team@theservingstack.com. Refusing it changes nothing else on the site.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you see, block, and delete cookies. Blocking the sign-in cookies prevents signing in; articles stay readable.
